Elizabeth Long

Ms. Long joined By the Numbers Actuarial Consulting, Inc (BYNAC) in July 2001 and serves as Principal and Consulting Actuary. Ms. Long was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Drexel University in June 1986. Ms. Long is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). She has passed two of the three remaining exams required for Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Ms. Long brings nearly thirty years of actuarial experience to BYNAC. Her extensive pricing and reserving knowledge is extremely beneficial and ensures the accuracy and integrity of the actuarial consulting provided by BYNAC. (more)


Mary Jean King

Ms. King serves as Principal and Consulting Actuary for By the Numbers Actuarial Consulting, Inc. (BYNAC). Ms. King is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Ms. King brings over twenty years of actuarial experience to BYNAC. Her extensive background in commercial lines pricing and reserving is an asset to the firm. (more)


Maria Mahon

Ms. Mahon serves as Vice President and Consulting Actuary of By the Numbers Actuarial Consulting, Inc (BYNAC). She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Ms. Mahon has 30 years of experience in the actuarial field. She brings an extensive background in reinsurance pricing and reserving to her work at BYNAC, contributing an important perspective and knowledge base to the firm. (more)


Katie Wilson

Ms. Wilson is Vice President and Consulting Actuary for By the Numbers Actuarial Consulting, Inc (BYNAC). She received Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Ms. Wilson is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Ms. Wilson obtained her Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society in June, 2016.

Ms. Wilson has ten years of experience as a consulting actuary in Property/Casualty lines of business. She appreciates the opportunity her work affords to solve complex problems and engage with clients to address their unique needs. (more)


Anya Hnateyko

Ms. Hnateyko recently joined By the Numbers Actuarial Consulting, Inc. as an Assistant Actuary. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Economics, from Rutgers University.

Ms. Hnateyko brings eleven years of actuarial experience to BYNAC. She started with Crum & Forster, where she gained experience in pricing and reserving for workers compensation, general liability and commercial auto. Ms. Hnateyko later accepted a position at Reliance National where she concentrated in large account pricing and reserving, eventually becoming the managing actuary for their international division and providing special risk pricing and reserving support to their Toronto and London offices.
